'My wife is pushing me into the arms of the maid'

Benneth has been happily married for six years but when his wife got a new job, everything changed and she has been making life difficult for him.

My name is Benneth, a 38-year-old married woman with two lovely children. My wife, Sarah and I have been married for six years and all those years, we have had a peaceful home.

But that was until the middle of last year when she got a job with a digital advertising company and everything changed for us.

Getting what she called her dream job has made my wife cocky, arrogant, haughty, and conceited.

She now sees herself as an independent woman who would not stoop low to enter the kitchen to prepare meals for her husband, wash his clothes or even make the bed she woke up in.

Sarah first showed her so called independence by employing a housemaid, a 21-year-old Togolese girl, and practically left the running of the home to the girl.

You won't believe that in the past one year, the girl has been cooking my meals, making our bed, cleaning our bedroom and even washing my clothes when the dry cleaner fails to come for them.

Anytime I try to call my wife to order, she would tell me I did not marry her to cook for me and that as long as the girl is doing the cooking and the housework, I should not complain.

I could have endured the lack of my wife's presence in the house but do you know that in the past six months, I can count the number of times we have made love on the fingers of one hand.

It is either she is very tired or that she has one management meeting or account to close the next day and would not want to be tired when she wakes up in the morning.

When I tell her what she is making me go through, she would tell me that sex is not food and as long as she can cope, I should not complain.

Now I am so frustrated that I am beginning to take an interest in the housemaid to also satisfy my sexual urge since she is my virtual wife.

Now that I look at her closely, she is not that bad looking. Though not on the tall side, she has firm breasts, radiant dark skin, and well-shaped buttocks.

I know she has tried several times to make me notice her but I have been able to hold myself together but I am sure if my wife keeps starving me of sex, I will have no choice but to have my way with the maid.

I know many women here would also say that sex is not food but then, we men are made differently.

I am seriously fed up of the situation with Sarah, my wife.
