A collaboration between Odugbemi and Africa Magic, "Battleground"
has premiered and it looks like viewers are in for a treat.
Femi Odugbemi's "Battleground" elicited enthusiasm online on Monday, May 1, 2017, when it premiered on Africa Magic Showcase.
Unlike
most shows, "Battleground" wasn't one of the most hotly awaited TV
shows of the year as publicity kicked off barely two weeks before its
premiere.
However, if the early reviews online are anything to go by, TV lovers are in for a treat this year.
A Telenovela, "Battleground" revolves around the controversial and extremely wealthy patriarch of the Badmus family and tells the story of power, love, deceit, and intrigue.
The
Badmus family’s love for one another is put to the test when an
unfortunate series of events lead to greed and power struggles within
their ranks.
The series features Joke Silva, Oga Bello, Gbenga Titiloye, Jide Kosoko, Kunle Coker, Ini Dima-Okojie, Chike (The Voice Nigeria), Yinka
Davies, Yeni Kuti, Steve Ogunleye, Bikiya Graham-Douglas, Zara Ejorh,
Shaffy Bello, Ozzy Agu, Francis Onwochei, Hauwa Allahbura, Keturah King among others.
