"Empire" 7 things that happened in season 3 finale

After a penultimate episode that saw the murder of Tariq, FOX's hit show "Empire" ended its third season with a blast - literally and figuratively.

The episode which aired on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, is titled "Toll & Trouble, Pt. 2.
From Lucious Lyon waking up with an amnesia to Anika getting arrested, check out seven things that happened in season 3 finale of "Empire."

1. Lucious dumps Guiliana, tells her he had been playing her and reveals to Cookie that he has always been in love with her.
2. Andre's plan to kill his father come to fruition in the season 3 finale of "Empire."
He, however, changes his mind after Lucious hands him the 'keys to the kingdom,' announcing that he is retiring from the business to travel the globe with Cookie.

3. Andre Orders Shyne to drop their plan to kill Lucious with a bomb. Unfortunately, Shyne isn't backing out.
“You started it, I’m going to finish it," he says to Andre.
4. Andre makes an effort to save his parents, but he doesn't arrive on time.
While Cookie survives the bomb blast, Lucious is badly injured.

5. Three months later, Lucious comes out of his coma, but, unfortunately, he has amnesia.
He wakes up to his worried family surrounding him with no memory of who he is or his family.
6. Lucious' mother sets Anika up for the murder of Tariq.
Anika receives a call from Leah Walker, who says she has a mail for her. When Anika comes to the house, Walker insists she uses a letter opener to open her mail - with that, Mama has Anika's fingerprints all over the weapon that killed Tariq.

7. Mother-In-Law Walker then sends the FBI to Anika, who is then arrested for Tariq's murder.
